Beat Blaesi

Beat is an inspiring Senior Executive Coach for leaders and teams who want to enhance their leadership effectiveness in a dynamic environment and align their strengths with challenges, strategies, and shared objectives. He brings more than 30 years of extensive and diverse executive experience in international companies in organisational, cultural, and human resource development.

Beat works with a systemic approach and uses modern methods that create perspective shifts and achieve long-term impact. He has developed and facilitated workshops and conferences with up to 200 participants in post-merger integrations. The focus was on building trust, engagement, and shared accountability for common goals and results. He coaches executives with a stakeholder-oriented approach to achieve positive, long-term, and measurable behavioural changes. With the ability to quickly establish relationships, Beat is a trusted partner on the journey to leadership excellence.

Beat has more than 30 years of experience in senior positions at internationally operating companies. Since 2016, he has been an independent leadership consultant and Executive Coach for executives and management teams. His previous roles included, among others:

• Global Head of Leadership Development and Talent Management at Switzerland’s largest private bank
• Head of Leadership Learning and Development at a Dutch universal bank: development and facilitation of global leadership programs for all management levels in Europe, UAE, Asia, and India
• Senior Management position responsible for Learning and Development at the headquarters of a global Swiss insurance company
• Training Manager and HR Business Partner at the Swiss National Bank
• Leadership experience in the Swiss Army as Commander of a major unit and Training Manager in a divisional staff

Beat acquired comprehensive expertise in business administration and general management at the University of Zurich, completed a diploma course in Applied Psychology at what is now the University of Applied Sciences (IAP) Zurich, and graduated from the part-time Executive Program – Coaching and Consulting for Change – at INSEAD. Beat is a certified user of various assessment tools and psychometric instruments. He lives with his wife in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, frequently spends time with the families of his two adult children, and finds inspiration and relaxation in nature, sports activities, and travel.
